the main think I like is the hardrive on the nav instead of a dvd..... and its upgradable... "of course with a fee"....
I almost think a mount and using the smartphone in my pocket is better because if being so much more accurate and real time without additional charges.....

As far a sound, I added a custom box to the rear compartment, thin and goes all the way across with two 10 Inch subs... it did wonders for the sound system.... the regular sound system already is great for mids and highs.

I do appreciate that the Prius keeps improving towards a luxury car feel and handling.
What I mean is, for the money no one wants a noisy roller skate feel.
In fact, when Toyota realized that is when hybrids took off.

We discussed this in another thread but basically all modern nav systems are flash-based. No one uses DVDs anymore.

it would have been nice if the advanced had its own alloy wheel (17?) to distinguish it from base

And a nice covered, removable donut spare you could use when desired.

Set and forget charging timer. So you don't have to remember to set it every night. Override for immediate charging.
Also an Entune app that lets you set the timer remotely.

Sorry but I'm a little confused about the difference in the NAV -- other than being HDD, is the NAV better in use than the base model? I did see that is has a better screen, which would be nice. Is the NAV software/user interface basically the same though?

Be careful of what you ask for... my 2012 Prius Five had the 17" wheels- very harsh ride and they drain 3 to 5mpg+ from your fuel economy.

Yeah the nav is definitely different. The biggest change is the split screen functionality which is similar to the nav in the gen 2 vehicles.

I do see that, and then I see the tesla with 21 inch wheels.... Wonder of its because the Prius is geared "if you will" for 15 inch wheels?

I can't figure out how to set the timer remotely from the Entune app.
Does anyone with an advanced model want to help? I'm still wading through the owners manual.

You can't set it via Entune. This is a feature we wish was available.
