I just traded in a '07 Gen II for a new Pearl White Gen III with ATP and love it. But one feature of the Gen II that was greatly appreciated was the category of "Wineries" in the GPS database. Living in Northern California often affords trips to wine producing areas, and this feature allowed all the registered wineries, and only wineries to show up on the map, making a quick diversion to sample an new wineries wares effortless. The Gen III doesn't have "Wineries" but it seems to have a plethora of useless categories ... it appears that Toyota or the GPS data company sold subscriptions to any and all businesses that wanted to pop up on the screen. So the Point of Interest categories is now clogged with crap I don't want, and missing the one that was most appreciated.

Any news on a fix would be appreciated; to both add the "Winery" category or customize (hide) the Poi’s listed.

What good is an $ 1,800.00 GPS Navigator without a listing of the local winery's??? What were these guys thinking???

Guess I'm just going to keep my $ 1,800.00, buy a Garmin Nuvi, and with the leftover money buy some really great wine, and drink away my sorrows.

    Keith :)
