What type of oil is provided by the dealer in the first two free services? Is it 0-20 synthetic or some other?
Or do you ask for an oil upgrade.

Toyota 0-20 synthetic is what my local dealer installs for the two free oil changes covered under Toyota Care

Toyota's oil is all I've ever used. I believe it's the oil they use if the customer doesn't ask for anything else. When we went to an new owners open house they had the stuff set out in graduated pitchers, said it was Toyota oil. Pretty clueless, but I've read it's a good oil. At $5.65 (Can) per liter it works for me.

They should be putting in 0W-20, but they may try to use 5W-30. Be sure to ask and ensure they put in the synthetic oil type spelled out on the fill cap (0W-20.) The dealer put 5W-30 in on one of my early visits, and I had them change it again using 0W-20. I've changed my own oil since then using Toyota's 0W-20.
