Is this where you would install a fog/running light? It looks like it's just a cut out and otherwise useless.

Very! maybe short of doing all the wiring and installing an actual fog light, maybe I could just put a fake one on there, at least to make it look better!

Yeah, but those golf ball dimples get you an extra 0.0025 miles per gallon.

If you have the stock fog lights the light output is pretty underwhelming. You have to toggle them on/off several times just to confirm something's happening.

I would get the halo style DRL for that.

Dylan Doxey, those are really nice! Where do you by these? Are they available in 4300K?

I took that image from a Yahoo auctions page. They're not too hard to find.
    Here's an example:

I've bought a lot of stuff on buyee.jp. It's not cheap, but it's fun.

    Search for: プリウス フォグランプ
... where "プリウス" is Prius, and "フォグランプ" is fog lamp.

Thank you for this link Dylan Doxey. Do these kits come with the fog lamp housing and wiring? Even after Google Translate I couldn't find it in the description.

Hey @Mrjfunk, I don't have any experience with custom fog lights.

But I did order some G's headlights with an adapter harness. The key phrase is "無加工で" which translates to "no processing", or in more relevant language, "no custom fabrication is required."

The automated translations from Japanese to English are terrible. You need to read a lot of them to get used to the quirks, which may be Japanese idioms or maybe a polite tone which addresses things in indirect terms. Otherwise when in doubt, you just need to be willing to do some custom wiring mods. It shouldn't be too tough if your car already has DRLs.
