What's With the New e-mail Notification?

How come the e-mail notifications only have the title now? They used to include the text of the original posters. This allowed (from the e-mail only) to see what the poster was talking about. If it was of interest, or I had something to contribute, I would THEN click on the link. The forum owners may think that this will drive more clicks to the site. The impact is exactly;y the opposite for me. It s bad enough that some posters only say things like "Help" or "Flat". Now we can't get an idea of what they are talking about just from the e-mail notification.
