Hi - Prius buyer checking in from the winter wonderland known as Buffalo, NY.

Which of these 2 cars can better handle wintry driving conditions: 2010 Prius IV or 2014 Prius c ?

    Thanks!

I doubt you would see any difference. The Prius C is lighter and therefore easier to turn and stop on snow and ice, but both would require winter tyres to be driveable in the depths of winter. I have a friend with a C and of course I have Pearl S. My friend put Nokian Haka's on his C and goes wherever he wants whenever he wants. Pearl S still wears the stock rim protectors but isn't driven in deep snow. I have an FJ Cruiser for that.

I will recommend if you need room for lots of "stuff" in the vehicle get the GIII. If not, the newer C might be better.
