    A 2010 Prius III:

Its been a few days now that its doing this.

While i'm driving, the car would start to beep fast (3-4 beeps per sec), the brake and steering wheel stops working, its very stiff and brake pedal is hard! Along with that, there's 4 lights came on the dash; traction control, abs, brake and tire pressure. All this happens when the car starts to beep, and the beep last anywhere from 2-5 second, constantly!

I checked everything and its normal, gas half tank, keyless key is in my pocket, all doors closed, brake pads looks good, tires are good. I've had this car for 4 years, its at 45k miles.

I do not know what the problem could be, please help!

I would suspect the fast beeping to be a warning to alert you the car is malfunctioning. Have you done the recalls on the car? 2010 has 2 recalls, brake booster and inverter reprogramming. Both of those recalled items can cause what you are experiencing. I suggest you go to the Dealer ASAP to get this done......maybe even have your car towed there (dealer should cover the cost of tow if it's a recalled item failure) because it sounds like it's pretty dangerous to drive.

I'm going to bypass any speculation and advice outside of "Get to A Dealership".

I'd be much, much more concerned about "The brake and steering wheel stops working, its very stiff and brake pedal is hard!" than the beeping sound. It's all probably related, but the scenario you are describing sounds very dangerous to me.

Whatever it is, you need to get it fixed ASAP.

    Good Luck.

    Like this?

Happened to me once.... I was able to get it to the closest dealer, who reset the codes and it never happened again, and I drove the car for another 2-1/2 years, maybe 50,000 miles. Their take was due to the bad traffic I was in, I did a combination of brake/gas/brake/gas that flipped it out. I thought it may have been that I had just filled the tank from near empty, but that wouldn't matter in your case since you have 1/2 tank.

Turning the car on and off did nothing.

if it is the 12v, charge it and keep an eye on it. if it won't hold 12.5 or better, replace it
