    I dunno, but they are doing it to 2, there's one in the background as well. Both have the solar roof...

    Edit, I had a guess but got rid of it cause I felt stupid saying it but saw DeadPhish said the same thing! lol So yeah, 2 of the first US PHEV vehicles getting ready for testing..

    Because you like to tease and lead on others, it's a no-brainer obv..:rolleyes:

    A 2010 Prius is being retrofitted to install a PHEV option for one of the new 'mules' to be tested in the US.

    Someone just have too much money to spend on a Prius, a complete custom repaint job.
    All the trim panels are removed to paint the inside panel to cover up the original color.
    A PHEV conversion does not require this kind of strip down.

    You're gonna put a FIVEAxis Prius on display at the SEMA show, no?? What do I win? :p

    I like the illuminated HSD emblem they put on the TCH that they modded for SEMA. Wish that was legal so we could have one on ours.

    Nice! I didn't notice all the "Five" stuff in the background. I assumed it was a PHEV conversion (and maybe it still is), but clearly being modded for a show.

    It is a custom car company called Five Axis in Huntington Beach,CA.
    They do custom Scions, and their website has a Toyota Hybrid sedan pictured (concept car?)

    The picture was taken at the FIVEAxis shop. Watch the 5Axis Demo Video and you'll see the exact same shop.

    I saw all the "FIVE" crates and the "FIVE" above the door but didn't have a clue what that meant. I figured that Googling "FIVE" would return a gazillion hits.
