Are you saying "Anybody knows why"? or asking "Anybody know why"? (check for typos)

I posted this the other day but agree it should be separate thread.

I can "fill up" my own EV for a marginal cost with my own power generation. Hydrogen just keeps the old players and paradigm alive. They should pay for it (after 40+ years of good intentions), not the public.

Plug in advocate is not anti-fuel cell. That's a straw man. Some have said here that a fuel cell could make a great range extender for a plug in.

I have stated several times that I am against the use of hydrogen directly. Doesn't matter if it's in a fuel cell or ICE. It will require its own, new infrastructure that will be very costly to build. Hydride storage may offer some solutions to fueling with elemental hydrogen. Partly in the ability of swapping the hydrogen holder, like a battery can.

There is an element of political corruption in regards to FCEVs at CARB. Don't think so, then answer these questions. In terms of tailpipe emissions, FCEV and BEV have the same benefits, why give the FCEV more ZEV credits(this is before the fast refuel bonus)? Why do PHVs, which can provide most of that FCEV/BEV benefit for lower price, get zero credits? Why raise the bar for fast refuel bonus credits for other alternatives after Tesla unveils their battery swapping system?

I don't know what Green Car Report comment sections are like, or their definition of crazy there, but perhaps they are reacting to that corruption, or have heard "in ten more years" one too many times.

To go from fueling up at home back to a gas station? That doesn't make me crazy, it makes me shake my head.

You are not in that group. I think you are a car guy, usually post threads about races if I am not mistaken.

There is nothing wrong with having a Volt... car enthusiasts like different cars. I had a corolla, Accord, Lexus, Infiniti; don't care for SUV but I did own an 2004 FX45.

Well, their comment section has been heated keeping moderators busy. If I get I chance (doubtful) I will go thru the 860 comments and categorize the reasons given for going crazy.

MSNBC, FOX, EV and H2 car advocates...they are all the same. My opinion matters and nobody else does.

Should ask Toyota why they let you do that from the US Prius plugin or even plain hybrid.
