winter tires

    has anyone gotten good winter tires for their prius and did you feel that it was a necessary purchase?

    I drove home from the dealer after buying the car, then straight to get new winter tires.
    I got Michellin X-ice, the 195mm width (stock is 185). Lots of threads about this, but I find these to be good, and necessary, winter tires.
