Well, my Prius was in a wreck and purchased a new Prius five with ATP & Plus
Pkg which is in order. Hopefully I will be receiving it by Mid-October.

This will be my 3rd Prius. I had 2010 Prius IV with solar pkg.

As far as future future car, I would consider electric vehicle -if I have a house where I can recharge it.

I'd call that a pretty strong statement and endorsement.
And this also is telling: Most Prius buyers are going to be willing to move to new and better technology, but there are limits. Not everyone has easy access to plug-in power.

I'm not sure what tires you have but we just changed the 195/65/15 tires on our car from Bridgestone Ecopia EP20 to Michelin Primacy MXV4 and the reduction in road noise is startling.

Sorry to hear about your wreck but it sounds like you wasted no time in buying another Prius. Good to hear and good luck.

    - Maybe because those of us who had (until last Friday when it was totaled) Gen II Prii really don't like the huge step backward in the driver's "cockpit" in the Gen IIIs. If Toyota had put the PiP in a Gen II design, I would buy one without thinking twice. I will NOT buy a Gen III or PiP in their current "cockpit" format. I might be convinced to buy a PiP IF they had put it in the Gen III car with a Prius v "cockpit" format but they didn't.
    - All current "real car" EVs have more than 50 mile range. I wish the 2013 Leafs were out. I HEAR that they have a 6.6A charger but no proof, Nissan isn't talking and I can't wait for who knows how many months until they come out to see IF I would want one.

How/where did you have the lift kit installed? I just bought a prius this weekend after a lifetime of driving SUV's......really missing the clearance. Have one scrape already and it's driving me nuts...
