Cool, you ordered where my car came in back in June (Manfredi). Who is your salesman there? Your getting the ATP though for a taxi, wow. If it's going to be used in the city you really won't be getting much use out of the DRCC or LKA since the speeds will be just too low. The parking assist works great but I find it SO much faster to just do it yourself, especially with how many times you will probably be parallel parking a day.
I have a problem navigating on this site. My salesman is Alex Severini. I got one from him 3 years ago and still use it as a NYC TAXI. You can see it on wikipedia,keyword "prius". Someone took a shot while I was cruising on Broadway.
I saw one in Hoboken last week. The ATP may come in handy when driving to JFK or LGA not to mention EWR!

I can't believe you haven't seen one yet!! If you get into Manhattan they are ALL over the place. I've also seen Altima Hybrids and Ford Escape Hybrids. Today when driving through Flushing I saw an Altima Hybrid police car!!!
Saw a yellow Gen II Prius taxi in NYC yesterday; it hummed by me before I had a chance to take a photo. It was real and it was yellow.
I think he meant the 2010 and not just a Prius. I think the one I saw was a Gen II as well. I have not seen a 2010 taxi yet, but I do not get in the city much.
I have seen the Iconic model yellow cab but have not seen 2010 model so far... I have seen Jetta TDI yellow cab as well. I don't know what he was thinking.
I didn't know that there were even that many. I remember at the time of the NY Times article a couple of years ago about hybrid cabs in NYC, there were only 18 Prius cabs. I really wish the federal court did not strike down that New York City law that would have established minimum gas mileage for new cabs (which effectively would have required new cabs to be hybrids because only hybrids could meet the mileage requirements). If the law hadn't been struck down, there would be at least 510 Prius cabs in NYC by now. Those NYC Gen II Prius cabs look good. I always try to snap a photo when I see one. Here's my favorite: Positively 4th Street -- Prius cab and Highlander Hybrid cab on East 4th Street in Manhattan.

I've seen the Malibu. It looks sharp in Taxi guise. The only hybrid taxis that I haven't seen are the VUE and Civic. Personally, I think NYC lost some of its distinctive charm when Checker ceased production.
