    Today's Washington Post ran a huge two page ad featuring the debut of the Ford Escape Hybrid. I imagine that the same ad is appearing in newspapers elsewhere across the country.

    The Escape Hybrid was actually higher on my new car shopping list until I read about the '04 Prius and saw how much more that it fit into what I wanted out of my next vehicle. The Escape Hybrid also dropped lower on my list after reading about all of the production delays.
