It was a gov’t agency car. Battery check shows all good cells. Drives and looks as new. Engine upper and lower bay clean. I wonder about engine seals drying from not being driven. It will cost me $20k after used vehicle rebate. Thoughts?

That's a great find. I believe the traction battery and emission system is still under OEM warranty. You may have to replace the starting battery if it wasn't plugged into a battery maintainer.

Sounds great. Hopefully those weren't 2500 upstate New York salted road winter miles, but that still doesn't seem to be a problem. Check to see that it's not a rebuilt wreck too.

I've seen those around the NYSDOT regionals with them plugged in all the time. They don't get used much at all. It's not the engine seals that would be the problem but check for tire rot and if it is a DOT vehicle, they keep maintenance records. And as @Louis19 mentioned I'd be doing an oil/filter change. Might also want to make sure they still have the EVSE in it.

Bought it. Will be performing oil change tomorrow and adding dynamat to the doors real soon.

Congrats, sounds like you found a good car!

Fresh 12v battery, tires & wipers would be about right for a 2020 that sat around.

Quieter tires reduces the need for bonus sound insulation.

...but our car has both, it's nice.
