2025 Toyota Crown Signia (hybrid) is not bad at all. Hopefully Toyota is starting to shift away from the open grill concept.

One way of looking at those huge grilles (they're not appealing to my eyes either) is that a lot of Toyotas last 20 years by reputation. In 20 years those grilles might come in handy if temps keep going up around the world at the rate they appear to be rising.
I can't believe I'm even trying to imagine what anything will be like in 20 years from now, maybe we'll get beyond the global warming forecasts and see a new ice age beginning.

Crown looks good, and priced right!

Blanked-out grills are popular too, grills that look expansive, but on closer examination you see a significant portion is just solid. Then in the lower right/left corners of the "bumpers", there's often little "grills" that are completely faux.

Honda raises the bar on those: puts corresponding faux grills on the two back corners. And of course the "bumpers" are sculpted around these faux grills, to channel the imaginary air in, and I guess out, with the back ones.

You can always hand paint your RAV4 Prime diamond patterns if you want to change it up a bit.

An angry bulldog, either way. :(

Curious, are these "air scoops" faux:

Looks like it. There are variants that come with fog lights.

I like how the "bumper" is sculpted, to channel air, into either the blank vent, or the fog lights. Basically the opposite of purposeful.

The existing Chevy Bolt has a decent looking front grill .... & thank goodness this photo above is just an artist rendering/concept. Obviously this poor slob artist was adversely traumatized/affected by Toyota Mongo Grill derangement syndrome

Yeah kind of gruesome. Maybe that's the real reason GM was halting sales

    https://www.motortrend.com/news/2024-chevy-blazer-ev-suv-stop-sale/

On a serious note though -after they fixed their bug filled software, and to encourage sales they dropped the price something like $6,000. You knock off another $7500 tax credit on top of that? Now you're looking at a reasonable SUV EV in the low $40K's.

Even though it is on a BEV platform, I think GM wanted to tie it to the ICE model in looks.
