Hey Tom, you had asked me how far I am from Westchester. Is there some place there I can get this engine swapped out?

Mendel you can probably identify this issue! I have a 2011 Prius and on January 20th of this year, this loud hum noise started http://link.www.ridesharedriver.blog/Prius_hum_noise. That is from a mic on the "Shotgun seat" While I am driving on Interstate 275 in Tampa, FL. The noise is very loud in the car. When I get over to the left or make a left turn the noise goes away. What do you think?

    Thanks,

    Sean

Does it change pitch with speed? What’s the miles? Original wheel bearings?

Maybe start a thread, include above info.

The pitch does change a little. I think it is the catalytic converter. There are 543,000 miles on the car. The wheel bearings have been replaced twice, There is a detailed maintenance log at my website.

      Good to know! Thanks!
Right now I'm looking for a first car for a friend with a $5,000 to $10,000 budget. As for me, I'd pay $20,000 for a Tesla when my Avalon needs replaced, as long as no red flags pop up for Teslas between here and then like reliability or insurance premiums being on the not-so-good side of the scale.

hope I'm not overstepping by DM'ing you. My name's Lee, I messaged Hybrid Pit via the "Contact Us" form on the website about 3 weeks ago and no reply, just wanted to follow up here.

I have a 2023 Prius Prime SE, interested in the RS-R lowdown springs (SKU HP-992). Says AWD, will these also fit the GEN5 Primes? Also interested in the Tanabe Strut Tower Bar. Would this be something your team could do? Thanks!
