Ricko the image you shared a while back is labelled incorrectly. The neg cable sits next to the casing not the positive.
If you are still interested, I successfully turned off the TPMS light on my 2012 Prius v. I responded to your old original thread. The wiring block is very small. I used a piece of cat 5 data cable. I jumped pins 5 and 6 at the back of the block. No cutting or splicing is needed. The TPMS system can be restored to OEM just by removing the jumper. Hope this helps you.

Hi Kenny, In this post (https://priuschat.com/threads/cleaning-fuel-injectors.189170/#post-2651556) you advocate using top tier gasoline in the Prius. I assume you mean 91 octane. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a fuel economy car? Or do you mean buy 87 from reputed sources only. If so, can you clarify which sources you consider trustworthy?
Top tier is gasoline brand - Shell, Chevron, etc. . Not octane. So yes, I mean buy 87 from a reputed source. Have a great day Indel.
Thanks so much for your help. That was exactly the problem I had. The dealership told me the combo meter was bad (IT WASN'T) It was all just the inverter pump burning out and causing an internal short. I should of just come here first!!

One Prius for several years now. 2018 Prius Prime bought new. Been off the group for a while. Just referred a neighbor so had to check in.
123,000 miles. Great until this week. Died just off freeway. Bad water pump. Should i hold on to or trade for gen 4 2015-17? thx
