      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I haven’t eliminated the EV system….however, having driven C’s for better than 600,000 miles combined (three cars) I’ve not experienced an MPG loss like this - WELL OVER 10mpg loss happened pretty much overnight - but not last night - LOL<br />
I have eliminated brake drag and wheel bearing issues. The car has new spark plugs and air filter. <br />
There is a noice that sounds similar to ‘traction control/stability control’ activation coming from the passenger front only when the ice engine is...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I’ve got a 2013 Toyota Aqua and a few months ago it threw a <b>P0401 fault code (EGR insufficient flow)</b>. My local mechanic cleaned the EGR, and the check engine light went away — but it came back after about <b>30-40 km</b>. He cleaned it again, same story.<br />

Took it to a few other mechanics, and they all recommended replacing the EGR. Reluctantly, I bought a new one, got it installed… and a few days later, the same code came back. The mechanic replaced it under warranty and then sent me...<br />

My SF-San Jose morning commute was longer than usual today thanks to especially bad traffic on the freeway, and dropping off a carpool passenger a couple of miles away from the freeway in congested Mountain View, CA.       <content:encoded><![CDATA[I have a 2013 Prius C for a few months and since I have it I enabled the history chart for consumption, March was 5.6l/100km , April was 5.2l/100Km, May was 4.9/100Km, so lets say an overall 5l/100km.<br />
I got an OBD2 bluetooth reader and Dr Prius app to keep an eye on the battery, on my phone also have Torque Pro app used on my previous car so I did a Prius C profile for it  now the strange thing is that the app shows me an overall fuel consumption of 10.9l/100km almost 11l/100km my Ford 3.5L...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I have all the fuel data for my 2015 Prius C Two since I bought the car.<br />
   The final column is an estimate of the miles per gallon I get from use. It is a little skewed if I didn&#039;t fill up completely. There are four entries where MPG looks crazy as a result. The quick method of having excel calculate MPG results in 52.619. <br />
   The other method, should be more accurate, is the mileage I have driven (still not 100% accurate because I do not have the mileage I bought the car at on hand)...<br />

Well, the weather finally warmed up and I did a 40 km round trip. Mostly downhill on the way over and mostly uphill on the way back. Stop and go traffic with about 10% highway threw in.       <content:encoded><![CDATA[In May I put a set of new Falken Sincera tires on my 2012 Prius C and I now get 41 or 42 around town and about 55 MPGs on the highway, whereas I used to get about 47 MPGs around town. I spent $520 which is the most I&#039;ve ever paid for a set of 4 new tires. What I was running were Goodyear Assurance tires that had abut 3 or 4/32&quot; left on the tread. I have a feeling I would have lost some MPGs even if I had put new Goodyear tires on it.<br />
