Why don't I have a holder for sunglasses?

    lol

I agree. I love it. The bigger the glass, the better.

The sunroof controls and the reduced size of the overhead "console" required the elimination of something - looks like the sunglass holder was it. I was slightly bummed too, but quickly became accustomed to tossing my magnetic clip-on down in the under-tray instead.

Which is odd because traditionally in a Toyota, a moonroof-equipped car will get maplights and a sunglass holder

If it wasn't for the darned aluminum sheet metal, you wouldn't need Velcro for my solution.

I have a canadian model with sunroof and solar panel, I think it is the "techno" package.

Needless to say no sunglass holder.

When I was in Vegas last month I was in a rented toyota van and on the drivers side the overhead grab rail, was replaced with a sunglass holder.

I wonder if this same unit could be installed in our gen-3 as I really do not need an overhead grab rail to get out of the vehicle.

But your profile says Premium w/ Solar. If you have the nav, it's the Technology Package, if not, it's the Premium w/ Solar Cells.

That would be the Sienna. Did you know that the front door armrests can lift up, revealing a small hidden cubby hole?

We should be able to install one. I'm not sure if the assist grips are of standard size across the Toyota range.

I'm disappointed with the holder. I buy cheap sunglasses and they don't fit without a lot of pressure. Someday I'll think of something useful to do with it.
