Seems my status recently changed, must be the magic 300 number? Bad enough AARP figured out I just turned 50 (and hence the 50th birthday gift of the Barcelona Red IV/SR) but now am I going to have to worry about getting FHOPAARP offers too???

I thought the Sr. Member switchover was at 100 posts.
Maybe it's been upped since I joined. As a rank beginner,
I sure didn't feel "senior," at least to the extent of being
particularly experienced or knowlegdable, when I got to
    100 posts. ;)

At any rate, you can change that script:
Go to "User CP" on the extreme left of the blue bar above,
Then select "Edit Your Details," the first choice on the left.
Finally scroll down to "Custom User Details."

    Change away! :cheer2:

That's a scary thought  Those AARP mailings just keep on coming - as if at our age we forgot we got 600 of them already.

Although, with the _fill in your favorite adjective_ crowd here, the FHOPAARP offers could be interesting.

Be glad they waited until you were 50. They started soliciting DW at 35.

Wait till you start collecting SS, then you just give up and up with the flow.

I should change my title to "John Wayne Bobbit Member".

A couple of years ago, the rank of 'Senior Member' was bestowed upon you when you reached 500 posts.

I liked getting those AARP mailings which I started getting sometime during my 49th year. I think they spurred me into retiring (actually, more like quitting ... "Take this job and shove it") when I was 50.

I'm still a senior member at 10,000. At least you don't have to worry about aging any more than where you are now. :)

I promptly changed my title to something that indicated my youth.
