We picked up our Blue Premium w/ Sun Roof package today!

We took it home and I promptly put on the X-Ice 2 snow tires. We have some snow headed our way for Wednesday.

Figured out how to program the garage door opener. The garage door opener instructions worked - the Prius Manual's didn't.

Congrats to chimo for his new Prius. I didn't have problem programming the homelink. Well, I did at first but I pressed the wrong button on the garage door opener. Once I realized the mistake, it was done with a breeze.

I had to press the "learn" button on the garage door opener and then press and hold the mirror button within 30 seconds of pressing the learn button. Then it "paired" with the opener.

Isn't that what the owner's manual said? It did on our 02 Camry and 05 Prius. I skipped that section on the 2010 cause after two vehicles, I had the procedure memorised.

It has different instructions for US and Canadian models.

I did it exactly the way as you mentioned. My garage door opener is from Sears but I got it from Buffalo. So I followed the instruction in the US section.

That is correct. Presumably, you followed the Canadian one cause that's the one that worked for me.

Oddly, that's the one that did not work for me.

Going back on topic, I saw a Blizzard Pearl Prius V (Touring) on the showroom floor at Open Road - Richmond Toyota yesterday.
The unit is available for sale! ;) Look for Ted Russo.

Perhaps yours is an older style garage door opener? (i.e. It doesn't have rolling code but rather you set the code inside the garage door opener and the garage door overhead unit)

Nice! And very Asian, oddly enough lol.

Mine has a rolling code - it's about 6 years old.

Weird. Then the rolling code bit should work. Oh well, the point is, you managed to get it to work lol.
