Ordered a set of Fog Lamps for 06-08 Yaris 3-Door OEM style from www.Xtralights.com.

The set came complete with wiring harness and a switch that was obviously too big! Please see the photos below.

The switch on the left came with the kit. My installer says we need the swicth on the right. I have called Customer Service at Xtralights.com, but they are off on weekends. :(

Tried Schucks, NAPA at Bellingham, Lordco and even the stealership here in Richmond, but still have not found the right switch.

Can someone please point me in the right direction to get a switch that looks the same as the cluster of switches on the dashboard that are left of the steering wheel? Any suggestions? TIA.

Bummer. My Yaris Kit off of e-Bay came with the correct switch but in the advertisement picture it has the switch you got. Interesting. Obviously two different sets.
You couldn't get your installer to sell you that switch? Worse case, suppose you could order from parts.com if you can come up with a part number. Did you try a salvage yard?

Am working on a couple of options.

    1. Try to get the supplier of the fog lamps to replace the wrong switch.

    2. Order from the dealership Part #84895-4740 Switch (solar fan switch on Gen III Prius) which will do the job, but an expensive option costing C$87.00 including taxes. Ouch! Part to come out of Japan; delivery in 8 working days.

    3. Tried to get the installer to sell/swap the right switch. No dice, because the switch belongs to an owner who needs it. He promised to help me locate the proper switch to get the job done.

    4. Visit a friend who owns Richmond Autobody which is the official Toyota/Lexus body shop.

    5. Lastly, try the salvage yard.

Thanks for your input Spiderman; much appreciated. :)
