I'm trying to pick out a handsfree car kit for a relative who has a 2004 Prius (no navigation, external CD changer). What would you recommend? In my car, I have an aftermarket stereo with built-in BT, but that doesn't seem like a good option (or even a possibility...?) for a Prius where everything is integrated with that multi-function display.
My 70 year old parents have decided to go with BT earpieces for the car(s). Perfectly portable, no car modification needed. - D
I've seen those, and other portable BT adapters that clip onto the visor and such, but she'd prefer something that plays through the car speakers and can mute the radio automatically. If there aren't any third party adapters that work well, is it possible to get the Toyota Bluetooth system installed as an aftermarket upgrade?
