Look in the arm rest console. When you open it all the way, you should find it toward the back, in the corner.

Did you also get the Safety Connect feature? From what I understand the USB/iPod connection isn't there unless you have Safety Connect.

Didn't make it into cars until Aug or Sept '09, or so. Did you buy your car before that?

If you have it, it's right next to the AUX port in the center armrest console...

I bought my car on July 1. Seems a little strange that it wouldn't be there.

So did the later versions of the Gen III have a price increase, or am I just SOL because I bought mine when I did. That would suck.

People who have it basically paid for it in a price increase for the navigation system. Also, in October everyone got a price increase of $400 and there is another price increase of $400 coming up soon... I'd say your far from SOL buying when you did.

July pickup of the car was too early for safety connect. Cars did not begin to arrive with it until 3rd week August, 2nd week September 2009.

Lucky for me, I got mine after it was included, but before the price increase took affect. Had I been charged $400 for that piece o' crap interface I would have been thoroughly p'd. Haven't used it since the first week when I determined it was basically useless. Don't worry, you're not missing anything.

Thanks for making me feel better since I did have to pay the extra $400 for this feature (sarcasm!!!). First it didn't work with my Droid then I found a way to make it work but was sorely disappointed by the slow speed of the UI and randomness in the ordering and the inability to use the playlist. On the bright side I didn't get the Safety Connect which would have added more $$$ to the price of the auto.

This all lead me to think maybe it is better to get a car on the second model year. I am not putting you down, I got a 2010 Prius too - no USB for me.

I did not like the USB location. Basically, pour some coffee into the center arm rest, where the coffee ends up, that's where your USB is. Can't they think about putting it up an inch higher?
