WOOD INTERIOR ON A PRIUS...COMEONMAN, GO BUY A CADILLAC!!!

This is very ugly and cheap looking..

The original gunmetal grey dash, makes the prius look very futuristic.

The PRIUS, is not a PIMP mobile!!!

Does anybody like this 'pirate ship look'?

Overdone, the wood is too much!
However there are posts from the group where only the vents, and center console are wood clad and look quite nice!

    Do a search.....

    AND STOP SHOUTING>>>>!!!

It's not my cup of tea but each to their own. If it pleases the owner to have a wood effect dash the good on them but I can't see the point myself!

Not my thing but plenty of people like it. More power to them and no need to be rude.

A person who drives a Prius with wood panels has a lighter carbon footprint than a person who has a car that comes with tasteful wood panels.

So I rather see Prius with wood panels - a low carbon footprint is beautiful.

A user on here (Sorry forgot the username) did their Gen III with a wood trim kit. It's not my cup of tea but here's the pics of how it came out:

All this stuff is too shiny and doesn't look like wood. I think it looks terrible, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Yes, on the original OP's photo, I "personally" feel that's woodgrain overkill. But there are a lot of things people do with there cars, additions, modifications, etc, that I personally don't like, and more power to them.

I've seen more tasteful (imo) use of woodgrain that I think looks good. But bottom line, people can adjust their interior and exterior to their personal liking.

However, a suction cupped Garfield from any visible window? That's just wrong.

What about a carbon fibre trim? It's still 'faux fibre', but would at least be more in keeping with the type of vehicle.

I've seen that and it is cool, everything in balance though. Too much of a good thing is too much........

What does it matter guys? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. IMO when the front of your car looks like Noahs Ark you've gone too far with the wood dash. But it doesn't matter because it's all subjective.

Another person is going to prefer nothing to carbon fibre. I'm not even talking about this particular thread, but how often do you get much of a perfect consensus on any modification?

There was that horrid red prius that some guy was trying to sell on ebay a while ago..... I do not think anyone thought there was much of a redeeming factor in that vehicle exept that it WAS a Prius. People do have opinions and I am the type that can laugh at myself and with others and not be offended. The only thing I get truly offended by is someone lying to me.

I like some wood accents, it looks especially good on tan/bisque interiors.
