I've been going to a great shop in Lake Forest. They replaced my 12V battery for around $185.00. The shop is Corner 3 Garage. They will quote prices via email, the owner Nima, is a good dude. I also take my wife's G35 here.

Is that a good price? I just replaced mine myself and that seems a little high. What other work have you had done on the Prius, and what did you pay? I'm in the city of Orange, so Hi!

They charged you $185 to install your battery? That seems high to me. How much did you pay for the battery?

138.00 for the battery, around 45.00 to install it. This is my first time taking my Prius there. I've taken my wife's G35 Sedan there for repairs. They charged around 38.00 for the oil change on the G35. The stealership is near $60.00.
Congrats on changing your battery yourself, I didn't want to hassle with it. For $40.00 no big deal to me.
