The cutoff is designed so that the extra bright lighting of today's headlights don't shine directly into oncoming traffic.

And all of that is with the Halogen bulb? No HID upgrade? Or did I miss that?

Looks great! The color is one of my favorites too. Carbon fiber tail too? What happened to the color on the top of your car?

Very interesting.. if that's just normal colored halogen bulb. That's pretty bright and interesting. But if that's HID.. then... hmmmmm

If he's in Switzerland then he's running with Eurospec lighting, not the American standard. They don't allow as much glare as we do.

I have a 2004 Gen 2 non-HID prius. Will this kit fit? I called the company selling them on ebay (Racer Innovation) and the woman on the phone couldn't give me a clear answer.....help, I love the look of these projector lights.

I am also looking at these headlights (love the look) and it says right on the manufacturer site that they are only compatible with the '06 to '09 Gen. Have you put these headlights in Can you confirm they are compatible? I would love to get some for myself.

Of course price is a factor, but who is seriously interested in a group buy? I am checking into pricing and will get back to you guys when I find out.

I would not modify your headlights unless youre talking about changing a bulb. It is not safe, output and luminosity will suffer, and you open a host of issues come warranty time.

For the money I would just do a real projector retrofit or pay a shop to do it. The projectors used in those mass produced units are a joke and don't take well to HIDs.
