Huntsville had another tornado pass along Oakwood Ave. on to 5 Points. These areas are about 8-10 miles North of us. I'd picked up a Starbucks in that area at ~4:30 PM ... the Tornado came through an hour later. So far, no reports beyond damage, power outages, and some injuries.

    Chat at you later,
    Bob Wilson

ps. No square dancing tonight as I'd have to pass close to the path ... they don't need any additional traffic right now.

At least you're still in Kansas...er.....Alabama (cue sweet home Alabama). Unfortunately, this means do you not have the opportunity to deal a stunning defeat to a matriarch of a poorly-defined foreign land.

We've gotten more detailed reports but the approximate path was:
    34 43' 59.05" N 86 35' 06.45" W - Times Building downtown lost a skylight picked up from roof and dropped on sidewalk
    34 44' 18.81" N 86 34' 36.22" W - Star Market
    34 45' 56.81" N 86 32' 42.27" W - Chapman Mountain
Some injuries but no deaths. Power is out for ~10,000 people and there are reports of the smell of gas. Weather has cleared and temperatures are moderate, ~63F, no wind and dry.

    It happens.
