Lump in tire and swaying after parking

Today when I was driving home on an offramp I must have hit something with my right front tire. There was a loud boom as if my tire popped. If it was a pothole, it must've been huge. Thinking it was nothing, I checked it out when I got home, but actually found a very dirty tire and a 1.5" lump on the side of the tire (like an old basketball that has a lump). My rims look fine, but that portion of the tire just looks messed up. I'm not sure why this would be the case. Does anybody know what might be the problem? Will the deformed tire return to its natural shape if I just let it be, or should I take this to the dealership and what kind of repair would this be?

I also noticed that when I parked my car after this incident, that it sways A LOT back and forth after I lift my foot off the brake - like a baby cradle. I don't know if this is just coincidence or a problem related to my tire "popping." Has anybody experienced their car swaying after you park it? Could there be something wrong with the suspension?

Oh god, I was having such a good day - except that stocks TANKED.

Thanks, what exactly is an "RF" tire? (sorry). Also, no indicator lights on my dashboard have turned on afterwards. (Thats the first thing I looked for the second it happened).

Oh, and what kind of tire specifications do I need? Does it need to match my other 3? How does this affect my services for future tire rotations and purchase of tire sets?

 

I like the current tires. I have only put about 7000 miles on my tires. I believe my tires were new at the time I purchased the car used at ~10000 miles. They are the OEM Touring Bridgestone Turanza EL400.

Would shock/suspension be covered under the warranty?

 

Called America's Tire: I think I will go there. They quote $133 for Turanza EL400 + installation, but since they don't have it in stock, I'll have to wait until Wednesday at the earliest. Is $133 too much? I know AT is one of the best tire places to go, but it still seems pricey. I'm thinking of going in tomorrow anyways and having it looked at, and might buy a different tire depending on what their advice is, even though I know it won't match. So, what other tires (brands, models, etc) could I consider buying from AT, if I don't want to wait and can find a more economical tire - I'm guessing at the very least it needs to be the same size and type (195/55/16 and 16x6)? I've never shopped for tires. Thanks.

Also, when they change the tire, I will ask them to take a look at the suspension too. But I drove around the block and tried putting the gear in park, and so far, no more swaying/suspension problems. The guy on the phone at America's Tire also said its very unlikely it suffered any suspension/shock damage.

FYI, Toyota dealership quoted me $205 for the one Turanza.
