Well unfortunately they decided that from the Great Lakes to the magical Pacific, the border shall lie on the 49th parallel. No one ever thought about the arctic and set the border at the 100° longitude lol.

Yeah OK, they are gravel but with a generous coating of bitumen mixed with the gravel.
We do have paved roads between all major cities but most are one lane each way except near those major cities and you need to drive on the wrong side of the road to overtake. The speed limit is generally 110km/h, or about 67mph in the old language.

I think you mean you have to drive on the RIGHT side of the road to overtake

Ahh. Ours is paved from coast to coast but again unless you're near a major city centre or tourist attraction (e.g. Banff), it's 1 lane each way. There is some expansion work in Saskatchewan (you can look that up on google) where they're expanding it to... wait for it.... TWO lanes . The limit is 110km/h if you're out in the middle of nowhere and 90-100km/h near towns/cities. 80km/h if it runs through a major population centre (e.g Calgary or Vancouver) and 50km/h if it runs through a town/village (though it's only for < 2km since how big can a town/village be anyway?)

Thinking of Hydrogen & these occasional 7 figure cost vehicles that get paraded around. Why is it that the auto industry is never held accountable for their prior failed forecasts? When they bragged in 1999 for example, that production will be in the millions by 2010 ... why is it no one says, "HEY WAIT ~ you already said hydrogen autos would already be up and running 10 years ago ... and 10 years before that ... why should be believe you now ... why should we keep wasting 10's of millions when you keep NOT delivering?"

Exactly... where's my 2003 hydrogen model that you guys promised? (this was 1996).

Btw, I think Honda has unveiled a solar panel hydrogen station (compact one) that can be installed in a garage. It's enough for 0.5kg of hydrogen.
