    Danny,

I don't know if my emails got thru so I figure I will post the part # I need here.

    76085-47905 Spoiler Assembly x 1 pcs
    90179-06274 Blue Clips x 4 pcs

If anyone has a good source online I would love to know. I have great resources for Nissan/Infiniti but have had a hard time finding a good source for Toyota for some reason.

    Thanks,

    Chan

I would love it if I could buy factory parts at discount prices for such items as: Oil Filters, Air Filters, Cabin Air Filters, Brake Pads, Wiper Blades, Engine Oil Drain Plug Gaskets. Any ideas out there??

Thanks Spiderman. I visited parts.com and noticed they will ask for your year of manufacture in a drop down list that starts with 2008 and no selection for 2010. In addition they have a search function which requires a part number which I don't have. A part number search would be a very convenient tool. When selecting say a 2008 drop down to see what the description says about a part for example, no part number callouts appear...bummer.

I do like the exploded views of the assemblies...this helps alot.

I will try to obtain part numbers for my 2010 and see what comes up.

I ordered my fog light covers from parts.com using the Yaris part numbers called out in one of the posts. This was perfect and BTW the install went well.

If you want a simple tach, buy a Scanguage II.

Speaking of OEM parts - I'm in need of the big plastic piece under the driver's side doors that goes from wheel well to wheel well.

Does anyone know if you can get this part in the color of the car from Toyota? My local dealer seems only to be able to get an unpainted part which then has to be painted before installation.

I don't really want to replace it with a locally painted piece and find the color or finish not quite right, and then have paint start coming off in a couple of years. That would look much worse the the current damage to the part.

    Thanks.

I would look at used part searchs and see if you get lucky. My experience with body parts for most manufacturer is unpainted. That way you can match the paint to older cars and to make inventory levels bearable. Used parts with the same color would be your best choice. Lucky for me is that the spoiler on the Gen3 prius is black for all color in the line up. Good Luck

ANYONE LOOKING FOR LOWER ROCKER MOULDINGS? Well, the wait is over! I have a set of these mouldings in my possesion now. The Toyota part #is PT29A47100. The list price is $175.00, but if you shop around on the web for dealers that discount accessories, you could pay as little as $123.60 + shipping of course!

Oh, cool! That could be just what the Prius needs! Post pics when you get yours installed! (These must not yet be "in the system," because I haven't found a match on that part number, at several sources.)

Southeast Toyota region dealers have immediate access to an inventory for this part #PT29A47100, with a quantity of over 200 sets.
You might try calling Toyota of Greer @ 1-864-662-4810. Michael in the parts dept. has been very helpfull in securing parts for little over cost. They will ship out of state via UPS.

I like www.toyotapartszone.com You can look up part numbers and even look at the diagrams so you know exactly what you are getting. It uses what's called electronic parts catalog, or EPC and its the only website offering the diagrams for Toyotas that I know of. You can register and plug in your VIN to your profile to help you get the correct parts.

You know, sometimes if you find great prices on the Internet, you can take those to your dealer to see if they will match or beat those prices. One of my local dealerships gave me costs below the lowest internet price:), plus I didn't have to pay for shipping:), I could get it faster:), but I had to pay tax:(

So none of these catalogs has a 2010 Prius available. Is there one?

No, OEM repair parts are not yet listed for the 2010 model Prius, but accessories are! Until this changes, you need to have the Toyota part # for the 2010 part you want. Parts can be looked up & numbers aquired by phone or in person at your local Toyota dealer. I do this and then search the web for the best online price at various dealer part sites.
