No doubt, even though I know my father will not purchase them himself for his Prius III, if the price is reasonable I think I may just get them for him, install them and see how long it takes for him to even notice them! LoL

    hahaha.

I wonder if they come with bulbs (I assume they do). I figured since I have HIDs waiting to be installed, I might as well go full out and grab yellow bulbs for the fogs. I do want a set of proper fogs (I realise a factory fog setup might not be ideal but at least it looks integrated and not like those aftermarket PIAA lights you attach to the air dam or something). My smart had properly aimed foglights and they're the best I've seen.

That 1-page taste is really nice and it looks like the product will be first class. Will you be able to publish the remainder of the installation instructions for those of us who have purchased the parts independently but have not yet installed them? :) I know, there is the other thread and those instructions are pretty good, but this is much better from a visual standpoint and would really be helpful.

I'll be installing mine over spring break (April) when the weather is a bit better here in Ohio.

To answer Tideland's question about tools: If you're a former automechanics teacher you do have the tools. :D BTW, a 3/8" drive ratchet and extensions will likely work just as well as the 1/4".

Once the foglight kit is available for shipping I'll post the whole installation manual so that anyone can use it.

@Tideland - yes, the kit does include bulbs, though I can't speak for the brightness or anything about the bulbs yet.

    Danny,

Had fog lights installed on my '10 Prius IV but not at all satisfied with the fit of the switch. Used a dashboard switch mounted left of the steering wheel in one of the blanks and while it looks and works fine it's does not fit as securely as I would like.

Since I am a customer of the Prius store I was hoping you would either tell me specifically which switch we'll be included in your kit or hopefully sell me just the switch.

    Appreciate your help. Thanks.

Thanks Danny. If it's from the same manfacturer as the factory one, then it's probably the same factory bulbs.

Oh, and with the separate switch, do you know if we can turn on the fogs with the parking lights only? like how spiderman has his set up?

Can you help identify a particular dashboard switch for the fogs that fits properly.

    Thanks.

Any of the blanks on the left (where your solar roof button is) will work.

Have a switch positioned in one of the blanks now but the switch which was included in the kit does not fit securely. Do you know of a particular Toyota switch that will fit securely.

    Thanks.

If I may, I like to share with you all about my fog light story.

Before I picked up my IV I know I want the same fog in V. Not just for the look, yes look a lot better, but I can use more light driving at night.

I did not do much research and bought the fog light kit from PS manufactured by Blinglight few weeks ago. Long story short, the switch is horrible, H3 instead of H11 stock, the lens is touch of blue and most importantly, it does not offer much adjustment aiming straight, all the way to left and right since the OEM non fog covers are not straight... Again, it is my bad and should read more before I pick up such kit from PS

Now, after a bit more reading and researches, all I need is any after-market Yaris OEM style fog light kit from eBay, $50 shipped, left and right OEM fog light cover from parts.com, $70 shipped. Optional if you want a HID fog, $60 shipped. Now, I have a perfect adjustment aiming straight OEM H11 fog in my VI.

    2 covers $70 + set of Yaris fogs $50 (+ H11 HID fog $60) = $120 w/o HID fog and $180 w/HID fog.

I am not suggesting anyone here not to get it from PS. But above is easy enough and if you can't wait their kit, perhaps you can look in that. Everything you need is in this thread.

You can ask hlkc or spiderman. They both have had foglights installed on their vehicles.
