    Please try to enter the following address to see if your NAV can find it:

    3105 Dundas St. West, Mississauga, Ontario (not Oakville). (Its a valid address)

    On my other NAV, it will get you to the closest known house number if it cannot local the one you enter. But on the Prius NAV, it will display "house # not found" and ask you to enter a different house #? On this address, it take me more then 10 tries to get a valid house #?

    Is there any way to set the NAV so that it would point to the nearest known house # automatically?

    Hey there,

    I realize this is an old thread, but I thought I would reply anyway since nobody else has. I have an 06 - which is a 5th Gen - but I am pretty sure this would also apply to the 2010+ models. Here is a tip;

    If an exact address is not found, simply blank out the address number and hit List. It will then show you the range of addresses it knows and you can enter the nearest number. It's really not a problem when you are aware of that behaviour.

    Now, with respect to the particular example you are asking about - 3105 Dundas W in Mississauga is not found in mine either (latest update, 9.1), however the valid range is 1-3055. Entering 3055 brings you to the intersection of Hampshire Gate, and since this is about 5 minutes from my house, I know that this is very close to the Mississauga/Oakville border. (In fact, Dundas St divides Mississauga and Oakville by North/South). It is possible that the system may think 3105 Dundas is actually in Oakville.

    When I tried using Oakville, it plotted me a location just West of Bronte Rd, which is obviously pretty far away. In hindsight, I probably should have tried Dundas St. EAST in Oakville, but it's late and I have to go to bed now... ;)

    Hope that helps...
