    Not part of the recall. I'm grateful that they won't have to take a hacksaw to my accelerator, but why?

    Your MIJ RAV4 most likely has Denso pedals and not the CTS ones found in the NA built affected 8 models. As for hacksaw, if you're talking about the re-shaping, I don't know the answer on that.
