I do have to admit I overlooked the hill start feature the first time going through the owner's manual. Matter of fact, it is not in the reference in the back. I did re-read it, there are two pages on it. I think under the "driving your prius" section. Funny with all the talks about people doing everything in their power to save .1mpg or complaining about their brakes, yet no one takes the time to figure out a "safety option". Hill start assist is a little on the "re" side (don't want to offend Palin here), but it is not a bad thing to have as it does your car steady at small incline. But then my question is, why do we need it for automatic?

I am all for class action if i get $$ out of it. Speaking of class actions, I received tons and tons of class action regarding credit card and cell phones. Yet I still haven't received anything for it. Wth!!!!

Drive on a big hill and let off the brake, our cars will roll backwards, thats why they have it. I had a 04 impala it would roll backwards also on a hill so other cars with automatics roll too.
