News is already factored into the price. Look at the 3 month chart and you will see a more accurate story.

TM: Basic Chart for Toyota Motor Corporation Common - Yahoo! Finance

If toyota follows through on investigating recalls and other bad news stops coming out, toyota will likely slightly outperform the industry (as some additional bad news is factored into the price).

Lutz is blaming it on Toyota instead.

Damnit! After building my evil lair in the mouth of an active Volcano and launching the largest anti-Toyota campaign in automotive history- sales of Prius are UP! ????

What do I have to do to get a "deal" on a Prius? Throw me a bone here people! For gods sake stop buying em! Haven't you heard? Please...watch more ABC news! Because I'd like a discount and I don't know what more I could do? Don't make me launch the death ray....

I am sure that if you head down to your Toyota dealership and mention you want to buy a new 2010 Prius, they will want to be your friend. There are some incentives available for even the Prius.

I was not aware that the Canadian Prius had a faulty accelerator

I did receive a letter for the floor mats but nothing yet for the accelerator which is supposed to be a Denso unit and does not have to be recalled :(

    Can anyone confirm ?

    thanks

Must be the 2010 model they're talking about, which you don't have.
