2006 Prius went to start, flashing lights etc...

Just went out to take my 2006 prius for oil change,hit the start button and all the lights in the information center came on flashing , gas gage showed empty and flashing, no ready light but everything else was on...Hit the button to shut off and tried to restart...then nothing came on except the light for your headlights...tried to start it with the key in the pod, then I couldn't get the key out...make a long story short, towed the car to dealer. will be checking with them tomorrow to see whats going on...not real happy with the Prius right now...Had battery checked in Dec, said it was fine...not sure what I want to do here...Anybody experience this problem...44k on the miles

Talked with dealer today,said battery is fine...Don't know why it wouldn't start.Started fine for them. told me I must have left something on. I said then it's still on cause I have done nothing with the car. Told me the battery would not charge with the door opened, I said DUW why would I try to charge the battery with the door open. There trying to blame it on me. I'm going to have them change the battery to be safe, going on vacation with it in 10 days. If I have trouble when I'm on vacation The Prius is going bye-bye.These things are getting to unreliable, I'm' not willing to take a chance with my life that MAYBE everything will be alright. Thanks to everybody on this sight, you all are awesome and very informative.You should be the one's making these cars better. I love my Prius but getting a little worried when I start having problems they can't figure out...Will let everyone know how my trip goes.
