 I am extremely disappointed in the PC Shop. My 2010 Prius did not have a cargo net. I wanted to order one and from reading here on PriusChat it appeared there were problems with earlier net installations causing cracking of the side panels but the issue had been resolved with a modified mounting technique that required drilling the side panel. Before ordering the net from PC shop I inquired about the mounting hardware and instructions and their reply was " [FONT=&quot]To answer your question, the cargo net comes complete with everything you will need for installation, hardware and instructions included. Some drilling is required."

After ordering, a cargo net was delivered from a Toyota dealer in my state; not from a manufacturer or PC shop. The kit contained only two hooks and the instructions did not state drilling was required or where to drill. It appears all that was done by PC shop was to contact a dealership that had a net in stock and had them ship it to me. If I had not been aware of the previous problems with the cargo net installation I would have followed the obsolete instructions and possible damaged the side panels.

This is not the service I had expected from a seller directly associated with PriusChat. I intend to return the net.

The early production2010s did not have the hooks pre-installed so drilling was required. Because there were problems the design was changed. All cars produced in recent months have the hooks already there. I have the same net and all I had to do was kook it in. How long have you had your car? Look and see if in fact the hooks are there.

I bought the car in December and the cargo net hooks were not installed. I had read in these forums that changes had been made to the installation and that is why in asked before I bought. The instructions I received do NOT indicate any drilling is necessary or where it should be done even though the response from PC Shop was drilling would be required and instructions would be included. It is seems to me PC Shop is not an actual stocking warehouse but merely polls dealerships and has orders shipped. Who retians responsibility for the correctness of an order; PC Shop or the dealership from which the items is shipped?

The "fix" for the cargo net installation. It appears there should have been longer screws and a template fro drilling included. See this thread:
