I was wondering if someone could shed the light on my question. I am looking to purchase the alloy wheels from a 2nd gen and place them on my 3rd gen. Is this possible? Will they fit with no problems? Thanks for you help guys.

The answer is YES - I have my winter snow tires for my GenIII on a set of GenII rims and have no problem other than the TPMS light being on all the time (since the snow tires don't have sensors).

Thanks for the help. So if I swap my TPMS over to the new wheels I will be OK though correct?

Yes, as long as the sensors don't get damaged in the swap.

@Walterm: 2010 uses a different tire size. What do you have?

The tire size is indeed different - I have GenIII-size(15") tires on the GenII rims, since the size difference is not that much it's not a problem.

    GenII tires - 185/65-15
    GenIII tires - 195/65-15
