2005 Prius touring GPS sun glare

    What can be done about sun glare during day making the GPS almost unviewable? Anybody solved this?

    The plastic visor that they sell at the Prius shop works. Not great, and I had to file down the tabs so that they don't push the buttons on the side, and put a little adhesive felt around the outside to block a bit of light that leaks in, but it works.

    I have a gen III, but I assume they have one for the gen II also.

    Unrelated side issue, but there was not a touring model Prius in 2005. They did not come out until 2007.
