I know it is nothing for most of you guys but I finally hit just over 40MPG. Thats 17.7 KLM/L
Until now my best was about 37.5 and my last tanks about 37.
I noticed that on flat roads it is easy to do much better regardless of speed and traffic.
Hoping to break mre personal records:)

That's one of the things about the Prius - you're always trying to beat your best mileage score.

My mpg isn't too good compared to some on here but it is superb considering the driving I have to do and the narrow streets and heavy start stop traffic I spend 10 hours a day sitting in.

Have you checked your tyre/tire pressures regularly? I have found that if they are down, even slightly, it can seriously affect mpg.

Love Harrogate and the Dales. I was lucky to live there in 1994-96. Will make an effort to visit again some year.:)

Check tire pressure at least once a month - it does affect a *lot* fuel consumption - more than on normal cars.

Great job! Like the guys have said, it's all about personal bests. Some of us like to compete with each other but at the end of the day, it's just you and the car.
