Was that blue-ish color in your e-mail the same color that the car is painted in all the press release photos? Were there choices of interior color?

I just ordered mine, problem was the email hit at 2:30pm (Pacific) and I had been watching it from 10am on and my first mtg was 2:30...without a laptop. Anyhow, I hit refresh while standing up to go to the mtg. The email came in and I went thru it REALLY fast. What I recall:

    - Color: White (there was no choice for interior color, bummer, I wanted tan leather, guess leather isnt eco friendly and they arent allowing it...)
    - Style: two models, the base and another (forget the acronym for either), i went with the higher model (it was less than a grand).
    - No other options, just your info and payment.

I just heard they were SWAMPED . . . and thus will not even be done sending out emails until 6 pm pacific time. Oh - and yes ... that blu-ISH (my emphesis :p) color was the same as the press photos. I didn't want to take even an extra second ... especially when my AMEX didn't go through, to think twice about colors. Had the VISA standby out ... just in case (whew!). I think you can go back into your account to see what you did, if it was all a blur.

    EDIT
Good news for those who splurged on their order.
The SL model includes the quick charger - claimed 80% in 3 hours. Time for me to re-route that unused 220v dryer plug!

    I don't think so, should be 220V @ 15amps

240volts @ somewhere near 20 amps max, the onboard Leaf charger is rated at 3.3KW, so max draw is 13.75 amps at 240 volts

Excelent! Our spare 220 breaker is 20 amps ... but with our bigol' new main panel ... what the heck, there's always room for jello!

From what I can tell, there is the slow charge at 110, the normal charge at 220, and the seriously fast charge at 440. The .pdf someone posted earlier showed at 440V charging capability, and if you look at the EV Project website it appears that their superfast 80% chargers are 440.

I don't know enough about power to know if there is a difference in cost between charging at 220 and 440 - I would assume that 440 is most efficient and therefore the cheapest, but didn't major in EE.

    Any EE's out there?
