Hey everyone. I have new Prius V dark grey. With Illuminated door sills and remote start added. I need to sell due to some financial changes. Sticker was just under $32K. It has 4,000 miles on it. LIKE new inside and non smoker. Can anyone tell me what it is worth. Saw some on Carmax and AOL autos for $27k and up? Is that right? I know I will loose some cash just don't know what is acceptable.

    Thanks in advance.

I don't think there's any accurate valuation this early on. Conventional wisdom would suggest a 20% hit on price paid for 1st year depreciation. Retail secondhand prices are little if no help. However, current availability of new models in your area would be a factor. There's also the luck factor of individual demand for the color and options selected. Fair price is what someone is prepared to pay.
Suggestion: Take a reasonable deduction off what you paid, set your price and try Craig's List for a week.
(Wish I was in the market to buy one!

Like you, I'm faced w/ selling my 2010 as well. The problem I've run into is that the dealers have dropped the prices of their new Prius' by quite a bit and now they're also offer a free 2-year maintenance package as well. So I'm definitely looking at a hit.

    Good luck on your sale!

I just sold mine 4/21/10. It was a 2010 Prius V with navigation package, illuminated door sills, and remote start. It had ,13,000 miles on it. I sold it for $25,500. I am the second owner and bought it from the first owner for $24,250. So, I basically sold it for what I paid for it with taxes and some accessories I added.
