I am looking at getting new tires. I notice that the 195/65 size is cheaper than the 185/65 for the same model. Any reason not to pick the 195 size. Will the mpg be effect that much?

195/65 is a wider and taller tire. it may drop your mpg by 2 or 3 at most.

as long as you don't break the 205 region... then you should be OK mpg wise... with my tires i get mid to high 30's.. sometimes low 40's.... it's really about having a great car, to me, over getting mpg. (comfort, accessories, gear-less, etc)

If you want to go 195 then get 195/60 as the speedo and odo will be more accurate than with 195/65.
