Hey guys, ended up selling off the bike and picking up my new prius tomorrow!!

Got an 07 with 49k on it for $13500. It came with tinted windows, and black wheels, with the factory wheels in the trunk! No nav, but i can add a kenwood or pioneer later.

Ive read a lot of the newb stuff, anything else i should look for before delivery, or just have a smile on my face and drive off with it!!

    Thanks,

    Frank

Nice wheels. I like black Priuses. Are those 16" or 17" rims?

I believe there the same as stock, 15".

Now I've been struggling wether or not to buy the extended warranty. I can get an additional 60month/60k for $2200. This prius just came off a lease and usually leases are in good condition. I read how these things are so reliable, but I'm still worried, is the warranty worth it , or just put the money aside into a maintenance fund.

If it is a toyota bumper to bumper warranty then I would get it.

Keep the $2,200. Here is my opinion and reasoning.

Never buy insurance for something you can afford to pay; just self-insured.

If the time comes for a repair, you make the call since you have the money (not the dealer). You get to choose how much you want to pay (by shopping around), where, how and you are not restricted by what's covered (surprises that you'll find out at their mercy).
