Can you tell me where the battery amp xgauge codes are? I have 07e321ce 056186ce0000 3810 001000af333 bta. I am not sure this is for the 2010 car.

    Thanks!!

    Fred:

This is what I did, thanks to folks in this forum --

    Set/Reset 2010 Prius Backup Beeper

Query Reverse Beeper (shows 0000 is enabled, 0040 is disabled)
    TXD: 07c021ac
    RXF: 046115ac0000
    RXD: 2808
    MTH: 000100010000

    Set Reverse Beeper Off
TXD: 07c03bac40 (change last 40 to 00 if you want to re-enable it)
    RXF: 047b15ac0000
    RXD: 2008
    MTH: 000100010000

    1. Turn on the car.
    2. Push the red circled HOME button.
    3. Push MORE 3 times (MORE MORE MORE).
    4. Push XGAUGES.
    5. Select an xgauge number to enter the data in, 1 through 24.
    6. Push EDIT.
    7. The first data to enter will be TXD, enter the TXD for Reverse Beeper Off.
    8. Push OK.
    9. Enter the data for RXF and push OK. Enter data for RXD and push OK. Enter data for MTH and push OK. Enter a 3 letter name such as RBO (for Reverse Beeper Off) and push OK.
    10. Push SAVE.
    11. Push EDIT again and go through and check everything you just entered. Be careful, remember you are entering data into the ECU.
    12. If you change anything, don't forget to push SAVE again.
    13. Push EXIT
    14. Push gauges

Now you are ready to enter the command that will disable the reverse beeper.

    15. Push one of the four white gauge select buttons repeatedly to go through all of the default gauges, eventually (after about 15 pushes from the first gauge) you will come to your Xgauge command RBO.
    16. Leave it there for 2 or 3 seconds to send the data to the ECU.
    17. Push the white button again so it will quit sending data.
    18. Select what ever gauge you wish to view in that position.
    19. Make sure the reverse beeper is actually disabled.

Now you are ready to disable the reverse beeper command.

    20. Since the reverse beep command actually sends data to the ECU, you now need to disable it so it won't be selected by accident.
    21. Go back into the xgauge menu and select EDIT, TXD, and enter a blank character for the first digit (a blank not a 0) of the RBO TXD then hit OK until you are at SAVE again and save it. This deletes the TXD but the rest of the data for that command is still there so if you need it again you can just fix the TXD.

I've successfully turned off the reverse beeper on my Prius thanks to you guys.

My Prius has a rear seatbelt warning beeper which goes off when the pressure swich??? Not sure if the North Amarican spec Prius has this or not. When the rear seat is sat on when driving and the respective seat belt is not worn. It beeps for a few minutes and eventually stops.

All OK so far but when my dog goes for a ride in the Prius she sits on her dog bed hammock thing on the back seat (to big to fit in the boot/trunk) and sets of the warning beeper. After a few hours driving and the beep going off tends to drive me a little mad

I've delved through all the fantastic work done here but can't see if anyone as turned of the rear seatbelt warning beeper. Will the xgauge above work on the rear seatbelt warning or would it require a new code?

    ELM327 - What am I doing wrong?

    Hi all-

I'm trying to turn off backup beep using these commands via ELM327, as shown in post #174 in this thread:

"Now, you need to tell the ELM which ECU you want to talk to:

AT SH 07C0 (this tells the ELM you are wanting to talk to ECU 7C0, which is the combination meter.)
Now, at the > prompt, type: 21 ac

Should return 7c8 61 ac 00 if backup beep is enabled or last two digits will be 40 is set to one beep."

Instead of the expected response string, I get the response "NO DATA." Also tried the seatbelt query 21 a7 and got the same "NO DATA" response.

    ??????:(

Puzzled in Virginia with my 2010 Prius and new ODBPro tool,

First, let me say that you guys did an excellent job calculating those Xgauge, thanks!
However, I have a couple of questions about 2 Xgauges:
    1) Kilometers per Hour (Kph). I put here a pic, which is self explaining. The Xgauge is displayed on the upper right corner (I called it Kmh) while on the left is displayed the standard Gauge KPH: the values do not correspond at all.

    2) Fuel Flow microL: why it is not always "0" when ICE RPMs are "0"? Sorry, I do not have a pic for that....

This annoyance was discussed earlier in the thread, and has no known solution.

E-GINO, "The correct MTH for kph's xgauge is: 03E800400000 but I'm unsure of the accuracy. If I trust the acuracy of the mph's gauge then the MTH for kph should be: FFFF107E0000"

I received my ScanGaugeII (family internal name "Anti-beep") a few days ago. First thing was to use the description in post 166 to disable the reverse beeps.
It is really amazing how much difference the silence makes :cheer2:

Danny, I will be interested in a SGII when you get them in, (newly programmed). Please Post such that we can find out when you have them. Thanks. :D

I read through this thread...admittedly not all 24 pages...but enough to realize the old XGuages for Gen II's don't work for Gen III's. Wondering if anyone has come across a similar programmable XGuage for GPS (which monitors throttle position more accurately than TPS).

I picked up a 2010 yesterday and am soaking up all the info...thanks!

    Got a deal on a 2010 I couldn't pass up...$25 more a month for the 2010 than what I was paying for the 2009.

Spending every waking moment trying to adjust to the new car and how to max out the mpg. I'm at 64 mpg after about 100 miles...but a few of my 2009 tricks don't work in my 2010. Have been toying with a few new SGII parameters to dial in my driving in the 2010.
