Holy crap! You KNOW your TP! It is indeed one of those 1000-sheet types. Specifically, Walgreens' store brand "Big Roll".

I found out that toilet paper origami doesn't work well with the cheap stuff. Folds don't hold.
Perhaps a spot of water would help?

I was sorely disappointed at my hotel stay in Chicoutimi, no toilet origami, no towel origami on the bathtub or the bed.

I was expecting at least a rose or something. *sigh*

Isn't it your unbirthday every day except your birthday? Or am I being too technical?

As a matter of fact you're correct! :) That's what makes an unbirthday a bit boring.

(oh, and Happy Birthday to you!)

A toast, made to cool down, then covered thickly with peanut butter.
Left at opportune location for filming / picture taking (use a tripod and remote trigger).

Treat is so big, the little fella has to eat on the spot. Not sure why, they always rotate the toast in a circle, transforming it into a pizza shape, ever dwindling, until it reaches a size perfect for carrying away.

Using soda biscuits no fun, they're carried away too quickly. Melba toast works - but full sized toast is best. A toasted Pita bread would be awesome.

(Imagery - Toasted Pita Extra Thick Peanut Butter Spread)
    - Imagine eating a gourmet pizza 3x your size . . .

Fun thing to do when not squirrel fishing.

Tom, looking forward to you posting a Youtube of described event.

    My birthday was Monday.

At the last moment, DH invited family and friends over for cake.

And then, I woke up the next day feeling yucky. Really yucky. Headache, tired, draggy...

    I'm a little better today.

That's the blackest squirrel I've ever seen.

My apartment complex, which is really an 80 acre urban park with apartment buildings on it, has lots of black squirrels on it.

Until I moved here, I don't think I ever saw a black squirrel. So I did a little research.

From what I read: North American gray squirrels have a black colored gene. But you won't find many black squirrels in the woods. They are more common in urban parks where, because the squirrels don't get out much, there's a lot of inbreeding which leads to more black squirrels.

Or something like that (I failed high school biology).

When I lived in Wisconsin, we were right across the river (and bridge) from Wabasha, MN, which, at that time, had the largest population of white squirrels anywhere.

There were black squirrels on our side of the river - white on the other. It was a little odd.

I can certify that most colonies of black squirrels are neighboring in the "huds" of Upper Manhattan and the Bronx.
My first encounter with one of this, by my surprizze, was at the Bronx Zoo roaming around with a grape cream soda can.
