Blinking antenna light

    I confirmed that my trial subscription to XM satellite is active, but I get no reception. The antenna light on the dash keeps blinking. AM/FM reception is fine. Any thoughts?

    It sounds like possibly a problem with the SAT radio antenna on top of your car or the cabling to the XM receiver which I believe is under the driver's seat. If you are sure your account is active and when you select a SAT radio station that you get no reception, you may want to take it to your dealer and show it to them.

    By the way, what does the flashing alarm light look like? I looked it up in the Owner's Manual and it does not show an antenna on the dash lights.

    You'll have to forgive my technical ignorance--I think I found the antenna connection under the passenger seat--there's a panel with several connectors.

    Anyway--the word "antenna" blinks on the audio screen when I select SAT. It's not on the dash.

    The dealer owes me a tank of gas (from purchase 4 weeks ago), so I guess when I take it in for the gas I can have them look at the SAT problem.

    No problem, just trying to understand what alarm you were seeing. The blinking antenna on the audio screen definitely means that you are missing the SAT antenna connection. This could be on the back of the radio, at the XM receiver or between the receiver and the antenna on the top of the car.

    Let the dealer fill up your tank and fix your antenna problem.
