I like this Ii thing, it’s much more challenging. Hyo, too bad that Google Moon does not have place names..

Ilosaari (Island in Joensuu town in Finland. Also name for Ilosaari rock festival. (about 21 000 people))

AO, Japan is very beautiful place, I just hope that they stop that whale and dolphin killings. It’s only reason why I am hesitating to travel there…

Japan is a place well worth visiting, regardless of the whale killing. You need to get out of Tokyo and into the country to really experience the whole Japanese life. I have found that only speaking English has not been a problem - most restaurants have either an English menu, or pictures of the food, and, out of Tokyo, a lot have plastic models of the dishes in the window - just a matter of point and a finger or two to indicate how many. And they all seem to understand "beer", and if you do not drink beer, water and tea is often served as a matter of course. And if you are not eating, people will always try to help you get whereever you want to go - helps if you have a map printed in both Kanjii (Japanese characters) and English.

Wearing a Sea Shepherd t-shirt - no problems. I was bouncing between Australia and Japan when all that was going on - interesting to watch the different spin put on the same incident, but, mostly, the general Japanese people really did not care what was going on - most of them do not eat whale, or at least, those in Tokyo do not eat whale.

AO, I am glad that some country has guts to say something out loud than just small talking inside cabinets.

I am going to holiday to abroad so I will be out of few weeks, leaving tomorrow.
