Hmmm, how can you state that they destroy music and are boring if you have NEVER watched one?

Just like them electric Prius cars, they only get 30mpg, have to be plugged in overnight and are driven by hippy vegetarian communists.

 

1969, the real Woodstock. Those that remember it weren't "really" there. I was only 12 but my sister was a senior in high school so I was exposed to everything she listened to then and I still listen to it today. Steppenwolf, C.S.N., Cream, Buffalo Springfield, Jefferson Airplane, The Doors, Argent, and on and on.

I think the drugs must have been better back then . . .

 

You missed my point. My point was some of the best music ever made was made that year....and the best-selling song of the year was by The Archies.

 

I have a CD of Pachelbel's Greatest Hit - done by several different musicians/symphonies.

I also enjoy "Popcorn" by Hot Butter.

Oh, and Starship is in concert tonight on the beach, 20 minutes from my house. I'm hoping to be able to make it.

 

Never watched one is not the same as never having been exposed to one. (or many) How could you watch the news in the last year or so and not see "Thriller".

I have a Monkees boxed set. I also have a Duran Duran CD or two. No ABBA, though.

 

Somewhere in my vinyl collection is Sweet's Desolation Boulevard album. Man, those were the days.

Needless to say, I do not own any ABBA.

 

But who out there has Joe's Garage? How many know what that is?
